Federal Way played a huge part in the University of Washington’s upset victory over the third-ranked USC Trojans Saturday at Husky Stadium in Seattle. Not only did true freshman defensive end Andru Pulu, a 2009 Federal Way High School grad, actually play during the game, but Brandon Jackson proved to be the Huskies’ lucky charm.
Jackson was chosen as the UW’s “Lucky Dawg” before the USC game. The “Lucky Dawg” is the child that accompanies the Husky captains to midfield before the game for the coin toss. Jackson hails from Federal Way, according to www.gohuskies.com
